Chapter 3

They had been quarreling unusually long this time- five whole minutes. - since Salil Vatsal had lost his wallet and her passport for the third time in one year. It was true his travel writing had been slipping a little, and his memory too, but this was an especially interesting work-stay in an underwater hotel in Goa India that had been converted into a hotel from an underwater research laboratory in the eighties. Leena Vatsal was still internally livid about his forgetfulness, but had agreed to get along for the time being and not spoil this interesting treat. They left their car parked in the garage and walked to the dock by the reef. Upon arriving at the office, they sat through a scuba diving class and then were subsequently suited up. They were given two waterproof suitcases to pack their belongings into for three days. They climbed into the boat, and the boat took them off shore 80 meters where they dove in the water and were guided to the locked hatchway upon entering and changing they were shown to their suite.”

“Here are the keys and menus and tour programs for your stay. Let me take you to your room.”Said the concierge.
The hall way was lined with circular windows and the colors of the fish and landscape in the water out side were Luminous and otherworldly.

“ It really is amazing.” Said Leena

“yes, I used to believe in space exploration, as being a goal for humanity in the future, then year after year went by and NASA, nor any other space agency could do a thing about it in forty years. They still use the same methods and technology from the fifties, Did they ever think of inflatable space stations? balloons that carry space craft up there? and every planet within reach is a barren boring lifeless desert. No. You want another world? You want aliens? There all here, out the window. Just look at that!”Said Salil

ughh, yes, he kind of looks like the nowhere man, jeremy, remember? in the yellow submarine?"Said Leena.

"oh yes" I remember. but I don't see the resemblance."said Salil.

“Here is your room, Tarima kasi Tul, enjoy your stay.”Said the attendant.

“Thank you.”said the couple.

“I’m going for an underwater stroll in one of those old fashioned deep sea diving suits before dinner Meet you at 8:00 for dinner Salil?” Said Leena.

“Yes, I was intending to meditate in front of a window and read some more in
This book, before I have to start writing the review. See you later, love.”

She walked back through the corridor to the lock with all the diving equipment, She was a veteran scuba diver and had a certificate at home in her office to prove it.
Dropping down the hole and emerging from the bottom of the building, Leena began to explore and could not help but feel a little sorry for the astronauts directed by astro-biologists and astrophysicists obsessed with finding fossilized microbes on Mars. Out of the corner of her eye a flash of green uncharacteristically large for a fish flashed by, and was easily ignored. She spent a little time staring into the eyes of a large fish with big goofy eyes, and saw it again, duck behind a giant piece of coral. She went to investigate and found a giant Green shell ship with yellow glowing bubble portholes floating there. Figuring this was an extremely expensive hobby for a billionaire hippie. She adjusted that thought when she saw a woman pointing towards the open hatch way in what looked like an impossibility in physics. It appeared that nothing was holding the water out of the air and greenery behind. Being invited, she, and fearless for some inexplicable reason, she dropped down the chute, landed in a mini waterfall surrounded by moss and ferns.

“Hello, My name is Unpronounceable, how are you?”

“Fine, thank you…” Staring in awe at the invisible undetectable wall that was holding back 200Psi of water, and stroking her finger through .

“ I prefer to travel between worlds…from ocean to ocean.”

“you are from outer space?” She said as she noticed the woman shaped thing had eyes where her ears should be and ear holes where her eye cavities should be.

“No one is from outer space, even if it did exist, but yes I am from a planet that does exist in it’s place in what you perceive as space.”

“Your gardening skill has attracted my attention, it’s one of the best examples of the earth useful varieties.”

The lighting in the ship was coming from evenly distributed plants that hung around the corner less space , Leena remembered that the gene for phosphorescence in plants had been discovered by a student at MIT.

“Thank you, it’s I’m happy someone noticed.”

“yes, I noticed That you had skillfully arranged every medicinal, edible, useful, or psychoactive plant that exists on this earth all into a little utopia located on the property of your personal residence. “

“It’s just my back yard, I am a bit of a secret survivalist, and amateur plant biologist .”

“I’m here to offer you a temporary job, over all the professional landscapers, and gardeners of the world. On a far off planet made of gold and diamonds, Do you have seeds of all the varieties you’ve planted?”

“I always keep back-ups, it’s part of my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.”

“I think something is wrong with my translator-I just heard disorder instead of virtuous attribute.”

“Cultural differences Unpronounceable, cultural differences…I know I know my arrangement is the best I’ve arranged my plants into symbiotic classifications and with the ease of use of a wild supermarket,.”

“it’s exquisite, and this is why I want you to help me add your knowledge to my database of as many of 20’000 or so new species of plants spatial relationships, functions, and hybrid designs. Well have a whole new toolbox! Do you have any ailments? Illness you want cured, as a sign of my good faith.”

“Yes, actually I have cancer.. Good luck with that…
I just made myself sad..”

“Oh, never mind that. She plucked off a cup shaped water-tight flower filled with distilled water, Squirted a teaspoon of red goo from a pouch found hanging on a vine nearby and mixed it with a blue reed like stalk.

“This should get rid of that, swallow it quick, it’s cherry.”

“Why…never mind., well it can hardly be worse than current treatments. I’m impulsive.” She looked at the water still held by some invisible force and gulped. “Now what do I do, go to my doctor and get back to you on that?”

“Yes, Exactly my phone number is: 0532- 241403 call when you’re ready Here take these glasses with you and look up when you get to the surface. You will see a true arrangement of planets just take them off when you don’t want to see it, incidently; don’t get on any airplanes while wearing these.”

“Alright,” Leena sealed the glasses and the business card in her watertight pouch and re-assembled her mask, nodded when she was ready.”

“Good by.” Unpronounceable slammed a big green button and Leena was sucked back into the water where she had been and the sub was gone after a mild shockwave from the space it occupied being filled in with water.

Chapter5

The tourists were lying by the pool as the boy was stealing fruit from the bowls laid about and A womans plastic reclining chair dropped to one side and tipped her out, an apple could be seen as it left the location. By the boy, dressed as the help and lifting wallets, the commotion was his que and he grabbed an apple on the way out. He had just completed a series of motions to avoid the security and make a small fortune for his father and their obscure little religion that ‘s dogma included the collecting and cataloging useful

Work over, walter paced to the subway gripping his book in one hand still walking down the escalator two feel the need to pass him even though he’s in continuous movement while reading A book. At the bottom some congestion blocks a rusher and walter rushes unusually fast to catch the tail end of the train. Climbing up to the roof he sat in his hammock and pulled out a cigarette he had hollowed out, and packed with, a strain of marijuana that's color could not be discerned because it was completely covered in crystals. The chimneys had been painted like super Mario mushrooms and green tubes, after hearing that Shigeru Miyamoto had been inspired by the pipes and other shapes on rooftops. He lit it planning to take a nap afterwards following a rather tedious day of work, photoshopping the blemishes off of celebrities.
Just as a growling munchie woke in his gut a burger appeared above him exactly small enough to pluck from the air as a gift from god, except that it failed to be plucked when he waved his hand in the air clumsily and realized that his depth perception was fucked and it was an enormous burger that settled perfectly atop his rooftop garden. A tiny piercing laugh chattered invisibly before walter realized that a tiny door had opened up and a tiny being that was scarcely able to resist cracking up in convulsions had emerged from a tiny door shaped like a sesame seed near his feet.
"...did you like that one..? I actually practiced that for a while, on wretghjjjykl when I was a child with my siblings."

"are you gazoo from the flinstones?"
“No, I am actually a giant in my society’s standards, I’m in a me suit 1000 times my actual size it’s the most material I could afford since My looting license was revoked.” it’s meetings like ours that led to all the big people being able to do all that magic we do now-a-days.

"I know you don't know me yet but I posses a similar expertise to you in my our respective planets… but in a few moments you will wish you’d never filled your lungs with
